This is my "Class Picture from 1972." I am 15. If I were to put a current picture of myself against the one here, there would not be much of a change. Except some wrinkles and added weight. God preserved me nicely in this earth suit on loan.
On my blog in the past I have shared back and side pictures of myself. If you can recall those, you may have a better chance of guessing. My hair is basically the same style today as it was then.
Can you guess which one I am? I made it a little easier. Selecting the row in which I was standing that day. I put numbers on each of the girls. To the left of my blog is the poll. Just click on the number you think is me!
Clicking on the picture will enlarge it.
Hmm, I don't think I was a reader yet when you posted your picture, or I don't remember it if I was here. I'll take a guess on the poll. Have a good day, Grace! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm taking a guess, also. Hmmm- looking forward to seeing which one is you! God bless you, my friend-
ReplyDeleteI have not a clue ....guessing it would be one with "long" hair parted down the middle ..wink wink.....
ReplyDeleteLoving these "games"! :) I went with number 3, the most popular option so far. Looking forward to seeing which is correct. Glad to hear you are gaining more freedom every day! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm new hear so I've no clue what you may look like. I'll vote and hope 4 the best. I really like your blog. Similarities to me with the sexual abuse from a brother.
ReplyDelete"No.6?" Actually JBR, I'm just amazed by your strength emerging more and more. I know it's not easy but I'm seeing the strength that comes from Him which in return empowers you. God bless you JBR!
ReplyDeleteI have to view a few more times before I vote! I am very competitive and hate when I am wrong...which I will likely be lol
ReplyDeleteI'll have to think about this one for a bit.
ReplyDeleteI had a dream about you once, but it was last November and the girl was younger. She was staring out a window and this child's pain overwhelmed me in my dream. There was a boy in the background but the two were "set apart" as if by an invisible wall. The young girl was waiting for her mother. The mother had "attached" the child so closely that she had no room to bloom and grow so she lived in both fear of her mother leaving and anger (internalized) at the same time. This child was sad, confused, and suffering terribly inside. I guess in some ways you could say that this child "lived" inside her mother's fear. I know I'm not expressing this well. It was a vivid and strange dream.
Doesn't mean I'll get the picture right though :)
I think you are #1. I do love getting to know you!
ReplyDeleteI can safely say now that at least one of you have picked the real me.
ReplyDeleteHere is a link to the last recent sneeky photo of me. Whether it will help you or not, I do not know: PICTURE OF JBR
Feel free to post again as to why you chose which number you did. I would be curious to know.
You can also change your vote if you want to as well.
Thank you
Boy JBR, you are getting brave...good for you because it means healing is taking place and you are finding your voice and freedom!
ReplyDeleteHi, I have only come to know you and your blog in recent weeks so I really am guessing, but picked #2 because I looked at the sneaky pic and while all the girls have long hair, the cut could be similiar to your hair blowing in the wind. I think this is fun, you are brave and perhaps I should not be commenting late at night, hehe. Thank you for visiting my blog too. Look forward to getting to know you better.
ReplyDeleteHi, me again. I just looked at the picture again and now I think it is #5, looks like she has her hair pulled back. If I stay here long enough will pick each number, so am going to bed! Sorry, but I have a competitive streak in me too, but competitive against myself, I like to reason and think and come up with better ways/ideas etc. So some reason said the face structure was #5 instead of going by the hair. Enough! Goodnight.
ReplyDeleteJBR this is funny. The other day I thought to myself, Self, since JBR is becoming healthier through trusting God, will she reveal herself totally one day.
ReplyDeleteHere you are with this post. Stepping out further in your faith and trust in your God above. I'm so proud to have been around from the near beginning with you. To see how God has ministered and healed your broken parts. You're a living testimony JBR.
My vote is in. God Bless.
I guessed based on hair style but then I started to rethink about your childhood and....
ReplyDeleteI guess it just goes to show that you can't tell someone's home life just by looking at someone.
I am so glad you are trusting and allowing God to love and heal you. Blessings.
You are a very pretty lady. Hugs
