"Yet a time is coming
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23

My Heavenly Daddy is healing
me from the inside out.

Transparency is Real.
Many times painful.

Daddy let me be secure in You only!

Many of us were brought up by our parent(s) or authority figures that were abusive to us. Whether emotional, physical, verbal, sexual, or spiritual. Which in turn reflected how we viewed and perceived our Heavenly Father as we grew older.

Today I heard this song. It touched me greatly. Making me feel raw deep down.

I cannot tell you how many times I longed for my earthly father to hold me because he wanted to.

  1. JBR not many things make me cry. But this did.

  2. JBR I can understand the need to feel your parents love you. The desire to be held and feel safe. I never felt any love from my parents and this sometimes makes it hard to trust my heavenly Father. JBR I think you are a strong women with amazing faith.

  3. I am sorry this happened.

  4. It is hard to believe God loves you when your own parents didn't. But God can help us all with this when we ask him. I know we see through a glass darkly right now, but then face to face - and I think that will be when we finally understand the complete love God has for us.

  5. i do too. as i'm sure many others also. but thinking this, just reduces me to tears. and wishful thinking is unproductive. have faith and believe in your Father, and as for the earthly beings called our parents, make peace that we cannot change the past and put it there. in the past where it belongs and can no longer hurt you. hugs and love!!!
