LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

I recently read an article where a man hooked up a light to go on in his bedroom when someone pressed the front door buzzer. Apparently the buzzer was way too loud for him to handle. So he thought, "I'll put a light to alert me."

The man noticed when someone would buzz the doorbell, the light hardly lit. It was very dim. Concerned he called an electrician who came over and noticed right off the bat, "It takes more power to shine than it does to make a noise."

Hmmmmmm..............

That is why Jesus said "Let Your Light Shine." We can be more of a powerful witness by our presence and Godly character. People will undoubtedly take notice something is different.

  6. I like. Besides learning a good lesson I learned that it takes more of a electrical current to set a bulb a-light. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Hi JBR,
That's cool and so true! Actions are louder than words but you do need to use more energy. I love to say, walk the talk don't just talk the talk.

    Blessings,
