The man noticed when someone would buzz the doorbell, the light hardly lit. It was very dim. Concerned he called an electrician who came over and noticed right off the bat, "It takes more power to shine than it does to make a noise."
Hmmmmmm..............
That is why Jesus said "Let Your Light Shine." We can be more of a powerful witness by our presence and Godly character. People will undoubtedly take notice something is different.
Very good.
ReplyDeleteThat is great! and so true...thanks for the reminder JBR! :)
ReplyDeleteWhoa!!! That is deep! Good to remember for tomorrow.

I love the electrician's words!
ReplyDeleteJBR the analogy is right on. You've been bringing more light :) to your posts lately. The holy spirit is shining through your words. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT! I HEARD THIS BEFORE. REALLY BRINGS FORTH THE TRUE DEFINITION OF WALKING WITH CHRIST AND REPRESENTING HIM. EXCELLENT JBR.
ReplyDeleteI like. Besides learning a good lesson I learned that it takes more of a electrical current to set a bulb a-light. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove that analogy! But what a privilege to even be a reflector of His Light! Have a great weekend JBR,never forgetting the Light that is in you.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth.
ReplyDeleteHi JBR,
ReplyDeleteThat's cool and so true! Actions are louder than words but you do need to use more energy. I love to say, walk the talk don't just talk the talk.
Blessings,
