RELEASING YOUR CARES
After reading today's Jesus Calling devotion, I had to share it with you.
Fear is a very big struggle for me, and for the most part a lot of us.
Be blessed:
In order to hear My voice, you must release all your worries onto My care. Entrust to Me everything that concerns you. This clears the way for you to seek My Face unhindered. Let Me free you from fear that is hiding deep inside you. Sit quietly in My Presence, allowing My Light to soak into you and drive out any darkness lodged within you.
Accept each day just as it comes to you, remembering that I am sovereign over your life. Rejoice in this day that I have made, trusting that I am abundantly present in it. Instead of regretting or resenting the way things are, thank Me in all circumstances. Trust Me and don't be fearful; thank Me and rest in My sovereignty.

I think it is difficult for everyone to let go of their fears and just trust and have faith. Thank you for sharing this, Grace. I hope you have a nice day today.
ReplyDeleteI have watched you grow and heal in your recovery process. The one thing that is true of all of us who heal is that we persevere! This is the difference between someone who does not have Jesus and you - I see you persevering! It is a glory to God!
ReplyDeleteThat's right JBR,
ReplyDeletecast all your cares upon Him, be still and know that He is God and take no thought for tomorrow, trusting Him with all your heart. FOR HE CARES FOR YOU. This message is for every believer in Christ.
You are such a sweet blessing.
ReplyDeleteThat devotional this morning really spoke to me, also, as fears have been something I have battled. Thanks for the opportunity to read it again.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this beautiful devotional. Letting go of my fears is not easy, but the rewards are great.

ReplyDeleteand release.......

Jennifer
Trying to release all my worries...daily...many blessings :)
ReplyDeleteThe Lord is good and we are to receive each day with thanksgiving, yet I cannot help but believe the Utopian society has permeated the Body of Christ. The euphoric mindset about peace, joy and love. There is a balance to life. When Gideon was afraid to go into battle, he voiced his fears to God. The Lord allowed Gideon to put forth request that he did indeed hear the Lord, the Most High God. The Lord knows we are weak and we can bring our fears before Him and practice faith.
ReplyDeleteFaith is not the denial of fear, but believing in spite of our fear, we can have the knowledge of God’s might and trust Him for the outcome. Faith is a free will choice regardless of where our emotions may be. Accepting the perfect love that cast out fear is about the knowledge of our sins being covered, no wrath of God hangs over us.
God knew how many time we would face fear, it is why there are so many Scriptures encouraging us towards trust in God no matter what, it is not about the fact we will never have fear.
If we accept that in our human condition we will battle the unknown through out our lives and believe no matter what God will meet us there, we can accept life is not a utopian existence, but one of learning trust in God in spite of our fears.
Oh it has taken me so long, JBR, to really learn to trust Jesus! It is still a work in progress. It is very difficult when your mind is consumed with fear, but I'm so thankful that my Lord has been so patient with me.
ReplyDeletei know this. i believe this. yet i do struggle with the "don't be fearful" part that follows... thanks hunny!
