and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23
My Heavenly Daddy is healing
me from the inside out.
Transparency is Real.
Many times painful.
Daddy let me be secure in You only!

WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING
Pretty much we all can relate to the first stanza of this song with our difficulties and struggles in life and how much we have been broken in spirit, mind and body at some point in our lives.
Hopefully, we are all on our quest to freedom through healing. The line with the ‘wave crashing over me and all I can do is surrender. . . .’ for me personally means giving up my struggles and letting God have me fully to work inside and clear out all the emotional pain I have stored up for years.
“It’s hard to surrender to what I can’t see.” That line holds such truth. Still, to the best I am able I believe the outcome of my breakthrough will certainly be something heavenly!!
I think I am beyond the “facing up” part as I have admitted I am broken. I am in the process of cleaning this old house from negative tapes, stinking thinking and dealing with painful memories from time to time now. Not as bad or frequent as earlier on in my jouney.
It's time for healing, time to move on
It's time to fix what's been broken too long
Time to make right, what has been wrong
It's time to find my way, to where I belong
Pre-chorus:
There's a wave that's crashing over me
And all I can do, is surrender
Chorus:
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos, but somehow there's peace
And it's hard to surrender, to what I can't see
But I'm giving in to something heavenly
Verse 2:
Time for a milestone, time to begin again
Reevaluate, who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow Your will
Or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
Pre-chorus:
So show me what it is You want from me
I give everything, I surrender
Chorus:
To whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos, but somehow there's peace
Tho it's hard to surrender, to what I can't see
I'm giving in to something heavenly
Something heavenly
Verse 3:
Time to face up, clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I wanted to say for so many years
Time to release all my held back tears
Chorus:
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos, but I believe
You're up to something bigger than me
Larger than life, something heavenly;
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos, but now I can see
This is something bigger than me
Larger than life, something heavenly
Something heavenly
Ending:
It's time to face up, clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out

I love the line "whatever you're doing inside of me. It feels like chaos, but somehow there's peace." I am starting to like the chaos because I know He is doing something. Crazy huh? This past week I had to do something on Wed. that brought back many past pains for me and it was ok! When I left, I actually told God "I don't know who you are making me in to but I am in awe of what you are doing!" This challenging process is so rewarding! I love who He is making us into as we surrender!
ReplyDeleteThis is the wonderful thing about God and His Word. The more we fill up with His Word the less room for those deep in the chasm feelings that bind. It was by the renewing my mind daily in His Word, meditating on His Word that those feelings in the pit of my soul were healed. I did not have to clean up a thing, He did it all. I just had to learn to yield my will to His. It is not about some formula of cleaning us up to meet Him, but about being still in His arms and hearing His Words.
ReplyDeleteWe had the Bible on tape and let it play as often as we could even during cleaning the house. Faith comes by hear the Word of God, so does healing. God delivered me from demonic influences instantly, but through His Word He healed my broken emotions over time. The more time I gave to His Word the more healing I received, no formula, no step program, just Him and His Word.
Scriptures tells us that His Word is life to our moral bodies; this includes our soundness of mind. Emersion in Scriptures is what worked for me and I found it has worked for many others as well. I did not always love God’s Word and had to ask Him to give it to me, because it was difficult for me to read the Bible, He did put that love for His Word in my heart. May He grant us a hunger for His Word and a love for it.
Love the song, thank you for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful song with some meaningful words! A lot of truth in those words, and I thing most everyone can relate to it in some way. It's hard to surrender and let everything go into God's control, but that's the only way to true peace. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteOh, I agree with you, JBR. It IS hard to surrender to what we can't see. I'm working on it!
