IRRITABLE

I have not been feeling well these past few days and today I was extremely irritable. Prayers went up!

It took all I had in me to not “bark” at anyone who annoyed me at work. Totally amazing how the enemy tries to push your buttons in areas that you are struggling in. Through all of this, I am so glad there is a God that understands my nastyness at times.

  1. I've def. had those days. Usually it's when I get up way too early.

  2. Just remember when you find yourself growing short on patience, DON'T LET THE ENEMY STEAL YOUR JOY!
He likes to do that and everytime you snap, he wins and you lose. Tell yourself that each time and you'll find yourself just trying to be happy so as not to be angry with others.

You win out, and give all the Glory to God because you are using one of His fruits of the spirit to combat the enemy.

Praying at that moment also doesn't hurt, and definitely levels the playing field for you.

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  3. I can feel for you as there are also "not so nice" things at work. But it helps me to remember God's warning for us to be slow to anger. And I thank Him for that.

May you overcome this battle...by His strength.

  6. It happened to me sometimes, too. And yes, the hard part was trying to be nice while inside me was struggling to blow up. Prayers, praise and... I asked for space so to avoid hurtful tensions.
    God bless you, sister.

  8. I'm pretty sure God understands my "nastiness" at times. It's the people I think might not...

  9. Every one has bad days - we can't be perfect and always be nice. That's why God has his job, and we have ours!

    Hang in there.
