ROUGHSHOD


I am learning that satan is not that powerful.

Keep in mind the devil was once the most powerful and beautiful angel. God stripped his power when he rebelled. That is what we need to remember.

The devil is only limited. He uses tactics such as whispering in our ear negative, deceptive and deadly lies. "You are not going to make it." He will push you as far as he can. If you agree with him, he will run roughshod over you.

All the devil has to work with is his "mouth." Nothing more. He can be stopped by the Word of God! Wow! Amen!

When your mind comes under attack, speak back boldly and out loud.... "No Satan.....the Word of God says I have authority over you. I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ! I refuse your lies. I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. My emotions from my abusive past are healed. My sickness and diseases Jesus bore them on the Cross. Satan, you are NOT my god. Jesus is."

Now you have to hold your ground. Do NOT back down. Stand firm. It is an on-going process. There will be times the fight in you will feel weak. Symptoms may linger. BUT.....Do NOT give up. There is power in the Word of God. You will have to literally take what God said in the Bible as Truth. You are fighting satan with Truth. Bottom line.
