Sorry I have not been blogging lately. Been struggling with where I am presently at on my journey.
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surge.
Selah
--Psalm 46 (NIV)
Just keep on trusting on His promises...Hang in there JBR. God bless.
ReplyDeleteI am with you, we are all with you. And most importantly HE is with you.

I too have struggled through this week because of the post for today. Every year on this day it is so very somber for me. I invite you to read as so enjoy your blog.

ReplyDeleteYou will be in my prayers today. Face forward. Eyes fixed. We all need each other. When you ask for help, sometimes in the smallest corner of your mind and heart - the only space left on dark days - just try to believe that help is on the way.
ReplyDeleteYour in my thoughts and prayers JBR.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your struggle sweetie, asking God to hold you close.

ReplyDeleteHold on there girl! Theres light at the end of the tunnel.
ReplyDeleteYou've gotten a lot of great advice from your readers, so I'll just give you a hug. Like someone told me recently-- you will come out the other side, no storm lasts forever. xo
ReplyDeleteNo journey is without such. Just keep walking the path before you and it will eventually get you where you want to be.
ReplyDeleteAs you've said, being real is the pathway to our freedom and God's direction. Lovingly, Yolanda at Higher Grounds
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteSaw you joined my site and wanted to stop by and say hello. Love your transparency and honesty. From what I have read so far it sounds like we have some similiar background. Aside from all the great advice and scripture you have received above, I love to listen to songs to keep me focused when I can't always sit and read the bible. Listen to Nicole Nordemann's song Sunrise when you get a moment. It is in my Playlist (select pop out player) or I am sure you can youtube it.
Praying for you sweet one. You are loved.
Blessings,
Lindsey
Sometimes a pause is good. It gives us time to think -- see where we have been, as well as where we might be going. If we never pause, never take time out in our journey, never look back, boy, could we really end up going down the wrong path at a quick pace. Sometimes God just wants us to "cool it" and let Him do His part. (I have received that message quite dramatically before.) Hugs and prayers while you relax for a bit and let God help you see whether you will be continuing in the same direction or taking some interesting detour or new fork!
ReplyDeleteYes...?
ReplyDeleteIs it going over my head?
((((Donetta)))????????????
Are you calling out for help sugar?
Oh I had a real good time this morning...Took to the book :) then to the garden. Lamentations is what I opened up to and paused to say hello. You know it is HIS work I am doing...It is he who makes me able. It is hard yes.
That little girl is Doves chosen best friend.
I have asked God about it...see he asked me if I would be willing to help another child and i told him I am too old to adopt any more and foster was just to great a stress and a risk.
Here comes this child...I watched her for a month such a dysfunctional family. Sweet baby told me last night on the way home that she is glad that I keep her safe.
I would not let her ride home with a relative because they did not have a seat for her to sit buckled. I told them NO I would not release her to them and that I would drive her to her mother.
This is a real hard road lots of bumps to stumble over ditches to dig your self out of...
It is a process.
HOPE deferred makes the heart sick and heart sickness is a part of the process cause it takes a lot of hard work and faith and learning how to trust God. Let a lone trusting people. They need to earn it girl. Remember that do not trust blindly. You can trust Abba though. It is alright He understands you need to learn how too.
I'll pray for you. Remember Philippians 1:6 - And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
ReplyDeleteHang in there! God will help you get to where you need to be. I have been playing catch up on my blogs so I am trying to get to everyone's. Big hug from me to you!
ReplyDeleteSometimes we all just need some time to sit back and reflect on God's promises. Don't worry, we will all be right here when you return!
