ATTACK FROM THE ENEMEY

I have been extremely physically weak these past few days.

I have a bit of an infection running through my body, so I have to watch that which contributes to the weakness. I slept eleven hours last night.

Satan was playing terrifying havoc on me Wednesday night into Thursday morning where I only got a couple of hours sleep. Sheer terror. This happened once before a couple of years ago. Same at night time. It is so true what they say about darkness. It is evil. I could not wait until "the light" of the morning! I kept pleading the Blood of Jesus over my home and myself!

I am not even going to share what the terror was, as I am not confessing it (Satan will have a field day, as I can be very weak in this area and he will go with my stinking thinking) as I am still believing for my healing! What I will say is that it came to the point where I had to call a reputable prayer ministry in the wee hours of the morning and ask for deliverance and a physical healing and when I finally got myself to work I had someone pray for me again.

  1. The enemy can attack you at your weakest. Continue to read the Bible, speak the truth of God. He has to flee.

  4. Let’s face it, if you are a true child of God, then satanic attacks are going to come and they will come both subtly and openly, sometimes furiously. Satan will not give up on harassing a child of God. But, you're doing fine speaking the Word having prayer. God Bless.

  10. I wish you a speedy recovery! You believe in God and are his child do not worry Satan will not win. Too bad you could not stay home from work and get some rest. If you get scared in the dark maybe turn some lights on or the tv.

  13. My poor JBR.  When you rebuke the devil he has to flee in the name of Jesus!

  14. I can sooo relate. Sheer terror at night. Know this - you are a great threat to the enemy, otherwise he wouldn't bother with you. Keep up the good work, and keep pleading the blood. I keep a CD player by my bed, with anointed music to play in times like this. I notice the minute I start worshiping the Lord, the enemy flees!

  18. Hey JBR,
I've noticed that some illnesses hit us emotionally as well as physically. Waves of depression or fear seem to be part of the package, and of course, Satan sees that as an open invitation to fire a broadside at us.
Hope you are completely better soon.

  20. May the peace of God reign down upon you from the top of your head to the souls of your feet. Satan has no business messing with a child of God. Altho he does. We who are in Christ are stronger than the devil. Keep that in mind. Pray for you.

  22. JBR, so sorry for your hurting. Hope you have stabilizied a bit. Thanks for thinking of me and passing by again. Male therapist is ffine with me as my abuse is worked through and not the problem anymore ( yepp, it can be worked through, no one is going to stop you either!)but that my mother didnt want me and told me I am actually an abortion. Hence I constantly think Iam not good enough, should be alive etc. Took a very long time to figure that as jobwise I am so successful and feel highly confident, etc. But in privat life I fall apart when it gets difficult and dont stand up for myswelf always considering I am asking something not appropriate. Means I live two complete different lifes. I have transfered my difficulties in relastions on to my main therapist and decided to dive right into the core of pain. I struggle hourly, block myself off etc, but I do know my decsion is right to stick it out the tough way.
BUT obvioulsy I understand your point in not wanting to work with a male t for yourself. Wish I could tell you in detaiul how I had overcome this part but I wont to it so public. However if you care to know, my eMail address is on my profile. Keep you in my thoughts. LOVE xxx

I am sending the following to all those on my Reading List.
To those on my Reading List:
Please do me a favor. Would you go to my blog and “follow” me again? Because I changed my URL, I have lost many of my readers. I know you can still hunt me down, but this will make it ever so much easier on you. I will once again show up on your Reader and Blog Roll. I knew this would happen but needed to change to be more representative of who I am now. I think this is the best fix. Thanks for your time. If you have another solution, let me know! Thanky!!!!!

  24. Two years ago I could not sleep without a night light. It seems ridiculous, but somehow I felt that that small stream of light could keep away whatever terrors awaited me in the middle of the night. A pastor friend of mine offered to pray about this situation and I began to experiment with sleeping in the dark. I will not share what I feared either, for to do so would bring some small satisfaction to the enemy of our souls...but through prayer I began to see that Jesus was my ever present stream of light...he dispelled the fear .I know that you walk in this same victory but sometimes we have to remind oruselves don't we? I will remember you in my prayers

  25. I have been there, done that, and it is scary! Sometimes I couldn't even pick up the phone, and would just repeat the name of Jesus over and over again until it calmed me down enough to start reading Psalm 91 out loud.

Now I have two favorite verses as well: Micah 7:8 (KJV) -- "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me." And Psalm 73:26 -- "My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."

  26. Take your time. When things like this happen, God is doing or preparing something bigger for you!

  27. I'm sorry you had a bad night. One thing that has been helping me through so much lately is remembering that I am "spirit". I am just spirit, in this body, and therefore I will always be safe and am always okay, no matter what is going on. One day the spirit will leave this body, and I will be completely with God. Meanwhile, I'm trying to enjoy the show. :-)

  28. Thankfully as you mentioned, those nights are few and far between. The enemy is having a harder and harder time sneaking into your life. I am praying for you, dear one!

  35. JBR - you are not alone. I have had to cast Satan from my home more than once. And in the last two weeks, I learned he was playing havoc with my son, and like you, I won't acknowledge what the devil he was doing, but I took my Holy Water to my son's house and used it to pray over him and his home to cast the evil out. I explained to my son that Satan cannot stand for anyone to be happy, especially the children devoted to God, so he preys on the happiest ones. I won't let satan ruin my family's happiness. God be with you and I will be praying for your delivery from that evil!
