"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."
Psalm 16:11
"God comes to our lonely, anxious hearts and whispers our name. God says "I see both the fear you have of closeness and the deep longing you have to belong. I have come to comfort you and to respond to your need. I have been seeking a relationship with you. You belong. You belong to me. You are my child."
I can't stop now, I have to keep on moving! I've had the post-holiday blues, I think, and I prayed today that God would "help me", i.e., doing whatever He felt was required. I have been inspired and my blues are behind me thanks to a few of my blogger friends. I LOVE THIS post!! Surely it made you smile as it did me. I am smiling ear to ear! You are wonderful, you are loved, if it means anything, BY ME!!
This was so simply beautiful! My theory is...if resentments and fear are what keep us from God...and dogs do not have any resentment or fears...then my dog must have a direct line to God! Thanks so much for sharing this.
