"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies."Psalm 103:1-4
I have been meditating specifically on these passages. What I glean from them are that this Psalm begins with a healing attitude of "Bless the Lord." Trusting God to work healing in to you.
In Psalm 103:2 The benefits that are mentioned are part of our every day being. Like forgiveness of our sins, healing, prosperity, good things in our lives. Psalm 103:3 goes on to share not only the promises of total healing physically, but emotionally and tangibly. Depression, anxiety, poverty, etc. is all covered under the promises that God heals all thy diseases. Disease is a curse. Poverty is a curse. It is NOT God's will for any of us to be in poor health or in lack.
In Psalm 103:4 God is talking about that He protects us from accidents, bad people, war, etc. by redeeming us from death. But at the same time He crowns us with His love and tender mercies. Again these are promises. You, me are crowned with His tender mercies and are protected from evil.
Imagine that God cares about every part of yourself. Your mind (the stability and health), your body (health), your soul (what you believe). God Wants You To Feel Good! WoW!
Expect to walk by faith. When you prayed for your healing or situation the moment you receive this into your heart is the moment faith takes a hold. Faith is just that. If you do not see results right away, you know "by faith" that you have what you asked for already! Continue to confess that you have what you asked for!! CONFESS OUT LOUD so the devil can hear you. Confess You Are Healed. Quote healing Scriptures, such as Psalm 103:1-5; Isaiah 41:10; Mark 11:22-24; 1 Peter 2:24. You have to gird up your faith daily. Spending time in the Word! Yes, very hard to hold on to at times! I know that for a fact. I have been struggling with a painful ailment for over two months now. But, I continue to believe that I am healed. I believe I was healed the first time I prayed that I was healed. By Faith!
It is not just reading His Word, but it boils down to applying and believing it day in and day out. Asking for protection from this world. Believing, for a healing, no matter how you feel. Whether your symptoms and pain continue. You know already that it Is NOT God's Will for you to be sick. Continue to confess and believe that you are healed!! God cannot go back on His Word!

kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23

Great reflection of God's words. Inspirational. Thanks sister in Christ:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Joy. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteAs I sit here with a heated rice bag around my neck, stuggling with pain and a headache, your word is so timely. Thank you for the encouragement. God once gave me the word that He would restore my health and heal my wounds from Jeremiah. I try to confess it often. Thanks so much; this is just what I needed.
ReplyDeleteBB may you experience His Almighty healing touch today! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThis is just what I needed to hear today. God has a way of speaking to me through you. His words flow through you and I am grateful.
ReplyDeleteI was talking to my son yesterday and he was telling to pray to God for my own issues. I pray for others but not myself though I do thank Him for miracles that He does in my life. Ithank him for a safe trip home and such things. But I tend not to pray for myself. This was a perfect reminder for me and proves, coming off the heels of my son's words that God sometimes has to remind us many times.
SUCH DETAIL AND DESCRIPTION IN THE HEALING OF OUR LORD. JBR THANKS FOR THIS.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful God we have that cares about every part of us! :D Yes I also am a living testimony that you just have to receive God's healing that Jesus won for us on the cross through faith. Last year I was in a not so great place physically, mentally and emotionally but Jehovah Rapha came and met me in the midst of it all, gave me faith to receive healing. Thanks for your meditation reflections :) The psalm is great! With love :)
ReplyDeleteI do believe He wants to heal and restore the broken. I just wish my faith were stronger.
ReplyDeleteDaisy glad you were touched by the All Mighty in a special way. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMiddle Child glad you were toched by this post as well. God is very interested in you as well. I am learning this too. Thanksgiving as you state is very important too.
Wanda, thank you for your honesty. Dear one, you state you wish your faith to be stronger. Dear one, whatever faith you have, (as small as a Mustered Seed) believe daily, hourly with what you have. Only thing God requires is that you have diligence and consistancy in believing that you are healed through Jesus. Meaning confess you are healed even if you do not feel like it! But, deep down you want to and mean it. Hard I know. But this is the key. No matter how long it takes.
I found your post very interesting JBR because the priest who healed me said that people could lose their healings from lack of faith so definitely faith plays a huge part in the healing process.
ReplyDeleteSo you jave jets parting your hair again? Lol!
God bless you, my friend!
Awesome truth to ponder! Daily! God bless JBR!
ReplyDeleteI feel the strength in your words. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteTruth... all truth.
ReplyDeleteI love to talk about faith and healing. You said so much. I hear a very strong voice in you. I love what I hear.
I would add to all your truth here..
that even when healing is manifested and we experience its victory over our cursed flesh...beware...the enemy never gives up what he once had control over. we must be aware of this and continue to claim our healing and remain vigilant against the enemy. He WILL try to steal our healing. expect it. Be prepared to stand your ground.
Don't let the enemy convince you that your healing isn't yours.
Rebuke him and claim your healing, like JBR says... Disease is a curse. it is not God's way or will. Satan cannot reverse your healing. He can only plant doubt in your mind and spirit. Never doubt the power of the Master's healing touch! Never give into the lies of satan.
Stand your ground and claim your healing, never fail to praise the Lord Almighty for His love and care for you. It opens doors to a more one on one relationship with the Lord. This is the inner sanctuary of our souls where God communes with us and grows our faith.
I loved your faith talk tonight, JBR. thanks so much for sharing your spiritual walk.
hugs
