WACKY HORMONES

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understand, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 6-7)

Even though I am going through the change-of-life, my hormones continue to be wacky. For close to two weeks now, despite the daily supplements I take for this, I have been so irritable, very sensitive, depressed, hot and weepy.

I am pretty good at keeping this kind of thing in check. After all I have had plenty of practice most my life stuffing emotions. But, it has become hard. Breaking into tears, or flippantly saying something. So I repent and go on.

Experiencing "the change" is nothing like going through the usual PMS. For me it seems worse!

Prayer for any of you who need this:

Heavenly Daddy, thank You that when the world and people causes me to feel anxious, when hormones make me feel all crazy inside, I can lay all things at Your feet–and You will guard my heart and my mind and give me peace. What a great exchange, God–my anxiousness for your peace!

Just asking the Lord to touch you right now that your body chemistry may all line up perfectly, functioning how He designed it. Thank you Father that it is all in your control.
