Patience is not just waiting. It is "how" we behave while we wait. Oh boy!
I know for a fact I struggle with patience. Especially when "I" feel I need my breakthrough right now!
Yeah, I can wait, but I can also grumble while I wait. Grumbling will not get you any closer to your goal.
Heavenly Daddy help me not to grumble nor doubt while I wait for my breakthrough. May I experience the true virtue of patience.
"For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised." Hebrews 10: 36
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23
My Heavenly Daddy is healing
me from the inside out.
Transparency is Real.
Many times painful.
Daddy let me be secure in You only!

Grace, thanks for sharing this today. I'm afraid I can be guilty of this, in fact even at this very moment.
ReplyDeleteYour words today go to underline that I have to trust God - his timing is perfect. Scary, but perfect!
Blessings

Thank you Colin for your honesty. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteOh how I struggle with grumbling while waiting. I am reading Job right now...makes me feel like I should just shut up :) I am glad God understands all my emotions...Many blessings to you while you wait with great expectation.
ReplyDeleteThank you BB. Blessings back at ya.
ReplyDeleteHi JBR,
ReplyDeleteOh that word grumbling! I too suffer from grumbling when I really should just be thankful. I feel like a race horse in the starting gate. I prance and buck just itching to get jump into the race yet Daddy says wait and instead of me patiently, calmly waiting for His timing I grumble and jump and chomp at the bit.
Good word! Thanks for sharing it. :)
Blessings,

CoG glad you are back on line. Thank you for your comment. Hugs.
DeleteNot easy is it? Right now I am trying to be patient as the workers finish up on the house. Have to bite my lip when it looks like nothing is getting done. Glad I'm not paying them by the hour! Thank you for the Bible verse! Definitely need it today!
ReplyDeleteGlad you were blessed today Jane. Hugs.
DeleteHi there, thanks for visiting my blog and your encouragement. This post hits home for me...I'm afraid I 'grumble' too. thanks for a great reminder!
ReplyDeleteGod bless!
Thank you for the visit Lisa Maria. Blessings.
DeleteI have struggled with patience in the past. As a young woman, busy raising kids and working outside the home my time was precious to me. Looking back I wish I had slowed down more and enjoyed more. Today, I am retired with a beautiful family and very patient with life and my grandchildren. Growing old does have its advantages. Blessings
ReplyDeleteSeems like you are really blessed Mary, thank you for the visit.
DeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteSo true, Patience doesn't come easy to us humans!
Thank you Sinder Ella....love your name by the way. Blessings.
DeleteDoesn't it seem that we are being taught to "wait" on so many things in this journey? I can't imagine ourselves being impatient if we are looking to a joyous reunion with the eternal loving Father. Patience...One day at a time. You go JBR! By His "Grace"! :)
ReplyDeleteRosel, always good to ready what is on your heart, thank you. Blessings.
DeleteI remember looking up in the dictionary the meaning of the word 'patience' It said 'the ability to endure with calmness' I thought 'oh, I can endure, but I do it gritting my teeth'. So I asked the Lord to teach me patience. He sent me to work in a home for the elderly for six years.
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda. Thank you for sharing the definition here. Your job sounds like a very rewarding one. Blessings.
DeleteTo me patience is learned after a trial. I think I like your plan to be patient uncomplaining as we wait for our answer. When her children would misbehave, my daughter, Nancy would tell them to "work their patience."
ReplyDeleteUncomplaining is a hard plan to follow. But with God strength it can be done. Blessings.
DeleteOh yes, patience has more to do with our attitude than just the passing of time.
ReplyDeleteHey Wanda, always good to see you. Yup you have that right with the attitude. Blessings.
DeleteWhat perfect timing for me! Thanks for a lovely WFW :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kaye, thank you for the visit. Blessings.
DeleteYes your post indeed speaks to me....patience has been my life long lesson!
ReplyDeleteVery cute little bunny.
Thank you for sharing this wisdom. :-)
Rhonda, thank you for dropping by. Glad you were blessed.
DeletePatience is something I've struggled with at various times. It's better than it used to be, but not as good as it could be.
ReplyDeleteI think we all need to be reminded from time to time of the importance of having patience. Very nice post!
ReplyDeleteI am very patience except when it comes to change or fear. My mind races and I feel sick to my stomach. Hang in there, God knows and has His reasons.
