Oh my, what a powerful quote.
To think, the array of pain you, yourself, have gone and victoriously come through, will be a testament to someone who may be having difficulty in the same area as you for their breakthrough.
Just think of that. Think who your wounds may touch.
amen!!!
ReplyDeleteLike by the wounds of Jesus we are touched:)
ReplyDeleteJBR wise words. Can look at it as a domino effect. Where we all can learn from one another something from our hardships. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteOthers find healing in our wounds--wow, I never really thought about it in quite that way before. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYes! So powerful! So full of redemption!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing - and really makes me think about the way I am living my life. I am going to take that quote and sit on it for a while ... I feel a post brewing in my head already.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this.
Yes! Praise the Lord! Through our wounds we have empathy, sympathy and compassion. We can become the guides to others that have experienced the same wounds. In other words, we can take the negative and turn it into a very positive.
ReplyDeleteOh Yes this is so true! We all learn and even find healing ourselves through reading and hearing others stories of pain and healing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day JBR!!
Blessings . . . Chelle

Hi JBR,
ReplyDeleteyes it is only when you have been through very hard trials that you are able to testify to others how God is able to bring you through them. Also, without those hurts and our seeking God in them, we have no empathy with others, hence no real sympathy and understanding.
Hi JBR,
ReplyDeleteI really like what you said at the beginning of this post:
"God comes to our lonely, anxious hearts and whispers our name. God says "I see both the fear you have of closeness and the deep longing you have to belong. I have come to comfort you and to respond to your need. I have been seeking a relationship with you. You belong. You belong to me. You are my child."
So sweet~ So true!
~God Bless~ Lisa
