STIRRING YOUR NEST

TD Jakes had a great sermon tonight on stirring your nest.

Eagles build their nests on the edge of cliffs. TD Jakes had a good statement for that. Many of us are on the edge of our breakthroughs! I feel that is where I have been beginning this past year.

My Heavenly Daddy has been stirring my nest something awful. I was content with a good job that I thought I would have until I retired. Only to have it taken away from me just like that after five years of service. Then a month or two later hit with some health issues that I am still dealing with today. All the while, realizing the stirring of my nest has increased. And having to the best of my ability now to trust my Daddy fully. Talk about getting someones attention.

So, do I have enough feathers to fly out eventually from my nest to go to the next level? Daddy Eagle has stirred the nest of Baby Eaglet.

I do not want to remain in the nest and never take flight. My Daddy has equipped me with feathers and wings to eventually use.

I am trying to be transformed into God's purpose. I do not want to be a dead Eaglet who never left its nest.

  1. I think you are doing fine, Grace. You will fly in your own time. :)

  2. Perhaps this is your temporary refuge that will protect you and keep you safe during this storm. Even when you feel that you are left with nothing, you actually have everything you need to start all over again, because "God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in times of trouble."

Blessings, prayers and love to you across the miles sweet sister!

  3. I recently seen TD Jakes' sermon on the nest and I could relate all to well. My nest seems to have been kicked right from under me, which doesn't always feel comfortable.
