BROKEN IN COLOR

A lot of the time our Heavenly Daddy uses adversity in order to break our self will. Our attitudes that do not please Him. Break us from us. Mold us to Him. Total surrender!

God can use us in our brokenness. What we have gone through on our journey, we can share and help others of similar background.

Do you recall glow sticks in various colors. I thought they were really cool. I like green. They do not work to their full potential until you "break" them. Same with God. When He wants to use us to our full potential to help others, we have to first be broken ourselves.

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." - Psalm 57:17

  1. Yes! Love that verse!
We need to offer up to Him, our broken spirit and contrite heart so He can use us...

  2. What a neat comparison, JBR! Yep, unfortunately, that has been my experience too. My OCD definitely reminds me all the time that I can do nothing without Him.

  4. That is so often true. We can learn and grow from our brokenness and learn to depend on God and love more as He shines blessings through us and to others.

  6. So true! When I started my walk Jesus told me He had to break me because I was trying to be in control too much! But no pain is no gain! Blessings JBR!

  8. Your comparisons always bring depth to what you're saying, and this is extremely true - all the way around.

Thinking of you, Grace and hoping the week ahead is wonderful to you.

  9. That's right JBR, trials are for a perpose and produce strength, and if we have empathy with people then we also have sympathy and are able to bring forth fishes after our own kind.
    God bless you.
