PAIN SNUFFS WORDS

It was hard for my little girl to talk today as her therapist wanted, about how she was feeling presently with recent news that led to her feeling rejected and hurt.

My little girl was not able to.

The pain forced her to shut down and was visible to her therapist. When she hurt growing up she was told many times to shush, especially when she began to cry, or given a look of disapproval and then felt shame.

Unfortunately, by keeping the pain locked inside, it has side effects of physical pain.

My little girl is hurting and frustrated. She wants to heal. Her tummy is sad and upset.

She is so very wounded and frighten still.......

  23. I wonder what happened to her. Only if there’s anything that I could do to help her. Time heals all wounds they say. I’m pretty sure that in time, your little girl will regain the strength and confidence she once had. Just remain strong and my prayers are with you. God bless!
