BLOGGING REAL or REAL BLOGGING?

Was contemplating what I would share in this post. Naturally, I could go the usual route and share a bit how my t. went tonight, and I probably will in a few paragraphs below. But, for now I feel I want to share a little about ‘what being real is to me as I blog,’ which will undoubtedly tie in to my IRL t.

Not in my wildest dreams did I think blogging about being “real” would be so beneficial not just to myself but to others, “you.” I am totally amazed, blown-away, surprised, shocked…. at “me,” “this person” who is actually writing intelligent sentences, talking about herself to people she has never met and connecting with so many alike. Not only is blogging for me good t. but, I truly believe it is good for a lot of you out there who share the same bond of “realness.” We learn, we grasp, we comfort, we ((((hug)))), some cry, we process what one another writes and hopefully, apply if applicable.

My blogging has now become my journaling when I go to my t. weekly. I find I am writing much more on my blog then when I was just jotting down in private my thoughts. More of my pain is revealed on my blog and I can better express myself as such. T. tonight was not as intense as last week, but major areas were uncovered for future dealings. So in essence, all of you are privy to my “blog journal,” from day one when I started a couple of months ago. How sweet is that?

  2. Blogging helps in a lot of ways truthfully. I found that out long ago. Most times ones thoughts are clearer because when blogging we constantly read back what we are writing, and in doing so it allows one to contemplate ones own thoughts. I am glad that blogging is helping you. Hugs my blogger friend. :)

  5. Blogging is a good way for us to express even our deepest emotions and through that, we seem to connect. Then again, that's the purpose of the Lord's love and blessings, to allow it to flow out and not be kept. Your posts encourage me. God bless.

  6. Maybe YOU have taught some of us to "be real"...which is not easy to be. But I share your enthusiasm for the blogosphere. Mayb we stay, and keep in going for those who will come after.

  7. Treat us as your listeners and you will feel much better because you have someone to talk to.

Be brave and I am sure it will benefit lots who are silent out there.

    We are proud of you.

I have been blogging for quite a while with over ten personal blogs myself. It seems I cant get enough and one is just not enough to share what is going on in my life. Sometimes hard to keep track where I am at with which one and some are put to the wayside.. so I can relate here.

  10. Had a few blogs myself. Just could not keep them going or begin with them. I mainly just see what other people are doing by putting in a search. You have a lovely blog.

  14. Blogging for me is all about therapy as well. When my youngest son departed for BMT, and I knew he would be deployed (eventually)...I needed a place to set my words (my feelings).

You have done an outstanding job, and I do look forward to reading more of your words.

  15. I love blogging as I have met so many great people that I consider friends. It also is a journal to me also as I can go back and read my entries and remember how I was feeling or what I did on a certain day. I blogged on AOL so I have probably 3 or more years of posts. I totally agree writing it out and have other people share how they feel, or express they have similiar experiences is very helpful or healing if you will. I am glad this is helping you, as writing is an outlet to our inner emotions.
    Hugs!

  17. I find I'm more honest with myself in my blog. I couldn't write a journal for the life of me before I started an online one. Now? It's not just about my pain, but a shared pain (Hope that makes sense). (Hugs)Indigo
