GIRL and HER FISH TANK

Besides owning two birds, I have a 30 gallon fresh water fish tank.

Many times, after t. or when I need a mind break, I find myself in front of the tank looking at the active gill life. Totally mesmerized by the community of fish and their battle for superior fishdom, I find the calming effect of observing “Fish World” (sort of like their Disney World without Mickey) in my own living room, (no wonder DDS offices usually have them) so welcoming.

  1. Cute picture. I love watching fish swim. Too bad the big tanks are so much work. :)

  2. I was going to say that I wandered over from Shadow's blog, and that, like an aquarium, your blog has a lovely, peaceful feel to it.

But I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. The first song on your player, which I have never heard before, ambushed me somehow. I can't explain it. I added it to my own player, I hope that you don't mind.

  3. I remember having a fish tank when I was younger but all the work of keeping it clean was more than I can handle.

I still love sitting next to any aquarium whenever we go out and wonder just what the fish are thinking as they look at us!

  5. I would love to have our own fish tank, too. Maybe when we get our own house. :)

  8. It could just be the bubbles and swishing of the water, but I definitely see the plus side to being a fish sometimes.

The picture is precious. I agree it is relaxing, but I'm not willing to put in the work to keep it up.
