MELTDOWN

I feel I am experiencing a meltdown. Total one or not? I do not know. Will have to see. I hate these rollercoaster rides!!!! Up down Up down Up down Up down! I hate this part of the journey! Just let me get off!!! I feel empty and depleted. Hibernating sounds so very good now.

  1. Father may JBR experience your love, your comfort, your arms in a very real way today. May she know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are present in her pain. That you will not allow her to bear more than she can stand. That there is a purpose in the pain, though it does not feel good. That your arms uphold her, and you will not let her fall.

  2. Boy oh boy do I agree with you!
I'm in a meltdown of my own in regards to shame and grief. I so want to go to sleep and walk up in the middle of January and escape the holidays. Blessings to you dear one... may you feel peace.

  12. May God strengthen you in your time of need.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
    Isaiah 43:2
“And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
    Matthew 28:20

  16. I feel the same too. I've been frustrated, anxious, upset you name it I'm feeling it. I feel like an emotional eruption, or like you say a “meltdown.” Feeling so emotionally overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings that I can no longer control them or hide them from others. I'm here with you listening and feeling your pain.

  19. Hibernating is good. It restores the soul. A minister I love once said that when you are depressed you do 3 things:
    1. Get up
    2. Eat something
    3. Go out
A lot of people add to that:
    4. Do something for someone else.

May this day offer you opportunites to level out and be at peace.

  24. Hibernating can be a very good thing. So can a roller coaster ride that ends with new discoveries and healing. I hope that's what's in store for you with yours.

but all I will tell you is that I am reading you, and I am here. And I pray also...for you today!

May God show you the way, using one of the Peeps as His voice. Listen to the Peeps, that's how God talks to ME, too!

  27. I see many comments of comfort, as well as many who are in thee same place as you. Together, these must give you a strong indication that you are not alone, if you are thinking in the worldly sense. However, the other power of all powers, our Heavenly Father is there, watching over you and waiting for your to graph hold of Him. And if you hold onto Him, the ride will smooth and the waters will become calm again. I am staying with you, JBR, I KNOW you can make it through this!!! I'm counting on you!!

Be strong, be faithful, have trust in Him!

    Love
    Abbey

  28. Hey JBR,
    Once I wrote,
"There must be Light outside! I can remember it!
And other people I see everyday walk in it.
But how do I get out?
How do I get to the Light?"

Jesus is the Light, rest in Him.
He understands what you're going thru, and these up & down phases do end.

    God bless

  29. Oh boy do meltdowns make us feel so out of control and alone. They push us away from God and let our emotions drive our thoughts and feelings. Keep your focus on Him. Through the chaos and pain he is calling your name. You will get through this, JBR!
