I wanted to put this post up before I crash. A good crash.
I have been on fire with the Lord literally the last three to four hours and I am exhausted. Have not felt this way in years. Only difference now, even though God honored what I was feeling in years past, is this time around I am experiencing His healing not in denial but letting Him heal me.
I have experienced the beginning of the Lord "truly" healing my heart.
I still struggle with accepting God's love, totally letting go, fear, shame, guilt and trust. Oh that trust! But, at least it is a start.
I have a lot of painful uncertainties coming up in the next couple of weeks. I will discuss further in my next post, one having to deal with my brother which I feel I need to discuss as some things are troubling me.
But, for now, I am going to take this post and run with it and enjoy the remaining of me basking in His presence before I crash.
Bask babe, bask.

ReplyDeleteOhh What GOOD NEWS! I pray that God continues to heal deep down and you truly can bask in His Presence! It's good to hear that you're on fire and now exhausted so you can rest! One step at a time, my sweet friend... and letting go as God pries open your fingers to release, you can cast ALL your cares upon Him, because HE cares for you! I've been there with a brother and God released me as I forgave and moved on, set free!

ReplyDeleteJBR I'm excited to read your entry. The Presence of the Lord could arguably be considered the single most important part of our lives. While in a sense, it's always with us and we cannot live without it, we find ourselves hungering for God's presence more and more.
ReplyDeleteThere are times when His presence is with us in greater measure, and we experience God’s intimate presence in a greater capacity. The manifest presence of God is what brings power. God's manifest presence is what changes lives and reveals the glory of God. Glad he moved in such a way for you today.

ReplyDeleteThose times of basking in His presence are precious and life changing. The last time I had like that I asked the Lord if I could just stay there forever. He said no you must go back to the valley. Peter, James, & John asked Jesus the same thing on the Mount of Transfiguration. They wanted to build tents and all just stay there. The Lord is gracious to give us those times so that we can walk in the valley and be fruitful for Him. God bless.
