"Yet a time is coming
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23

My Heavenly Daddy is healing
me from the inside out.

I am in the process of decompressing from my brother's visit.

A lot to look at.

I feel like the woman in the picture. Crashing and feel I have taken some blows.

Last five posts share what I am dealing with.

.................................................................................................................................................... I Got The Joy!

  1. When we fill our thoughts with right things, the wrong ones have no room to enter.

amen amen amen..Was going to copy the entire paragraph because that was SO right on girl!! I can't tell you how many times in JUST a few minutes while doing whatever, I would have to fill my thoughts with what is true, right, pure, holy, etc. Phil.4:8..because the attacks was arrow upon arrow on my brain..Been reading a few of your entries sweet sis with what has been going on. Wanted to let you know that even though I didn't comment during this week, with each new post I saw that you had up, I would be praying for you. ((hugs))

  2. JBR I know you've been through alot this weekend. Seems you've encountered almost every day some sort of hassle or stress from your family that confronted you. Fortunately, emotional pain is not cumulative; we recover, the slate is wiped clean. Praying for you JBR this is what will happen. I know sometimes we can get stuck or don't seem to get over an event but considering the multiple 'slings and arrows' that came your way, a good proportion hopefully was absorbed, dissolved, handled or processed, rather like an immune system helps us recover from physical illness and accidents. I think you did great with responding to both your brother and mother. God Bless.

  3. you survived. smiles. enjoy the moment to breathe...and reflect...god is good.

  4. What a tough weekend. Even though it was hard, it's encouraging to me to the changes that God has wrought in you. Take care of yourself...

Your a victor in your battle. You survived the challenge. Rest now and take it easy.

JBR take your time. You've been through a lot. Hang in there.

  7. So proud of you for making it through.

  8. you did it for sure...I'm also really proud of you. Take gentle care of you now...you deserve that....

  9. Sweetie I'm sorry what you had to go through. I found something by John MacArthur on rest that I would like you to read.

Some people are never at peace because they're always bothered about something. To rest means to be free from whatever disturbs you, or causes you to worry. It means in this sense to be quiet, still, peaceful, and free from guilt. To enter God's rest means to be at peace with God--to possess the perfect peace that God gives. It means to be free from guilt, because our sin is forgiven.

    To be settled

To enter God's rest means that you can lean on Him. You can rely on God for support, trusting Him to supply all your needs.
