  3. HI JBR
Try and see your life thus far as a beautiful tapestry design, each square with purpose and wisdom. Some tapestry squares are darker, perhaps tattered and one's you may want to rip out, and other squares are bold and beautiful and bright - each connected together to make beautiful you. Each square is part of you regardless. Love all of you.

  4. I had to go and look in my photo bucket for the wording of a picture that I've used at my blog:
"Don't let your past dictate who you are; but let it be a part of who you become."

Father God, we keep saying that You are in control, and that You know all things, which I believe than means You have allowed this precious one to be right where she is right now...Which means that even though the past has intended to harm her, You have intended it for her good and the good of many, the salvation of many. (Genesis 50:20).....

Father God, the refining fire, faith in the dark season, and the pruning causes us to be weighed down. I think of Jesus, praying in the garden, being scourged at the pillar, crowned with thorns, carrying the cross, and that nailed to that cross.

I know Jesus understands the pain we deal with, for we carry on in the spiritual realm (which does effect us in the physical realm)..and we understand in part the pain He suffered...

NOT WASTED....I know Father God what she is going through right now, You will turn into victory, that Your power and glory will be displayed....that You will lift her up, build her up, and cause her to rise and shine and pour out praises to You..to witness, to testify that Our God IS good, our God IS the Healer, the Restorer, the Transformer and YOu DO make all things beautiful....

Comfort her Holy Spirit during this great trial she is going through, cause her to feel Your presence in a mighty way. Though she be bowed down right now, I pray she will wrap her arms around Jesus,, touch the cloak of His garment. For she is too weak to stand up, too crushed to rise up..but like the woman with the issue of blood, may she reach out and touch...Jesus, continue to heal this precious one and she will be healed. Save her from all that the evil one has brought upon her and she will be saved, for You are the One we praise....amen amen amen

  5. Hi Daddy,
Dad? Will You put Your big protecting arms around my sister? She really needs to feel Your love and comfort right now. Can You reasure her that she is good and You can allow good to come out of the bad things that have happened in her past? I know You love her so much, please let her feel You love in a real special way. Your daughter, my sister is suffering right now please show her the light at the end. Give her something to see to know that she is walking forward. Dad, thank you for creating her and for introducing her to me. :) Thank you also for sending her so much help through people on the blog that really love her and encourage her in this walk that she is on. Bless her.
I ask all of this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ our brother. Amen.

Praying and praying for you JBR!

  6. Reading just the title of your post, it brought me back to previous comments and some of your posts that sometimes, though painful, it is a must to delve on the past just so you can move forward to healing. I know the Lord doesn't delight in our suffering but He longs for our victory! Praying that over you my sister! God bless.

  7. I've been praying for you. God is greater than your past. I know how hard it is to go through the healing but God will bring you through it and give you victory. I've experienced that firsthand. Powerful photos you've posted. They say it all.

  10. what Ivory said is tru
    YOU ARE NOT YOUR PAST!
you need to look in your looking glass and see the new you, Gods child, not the child that was abused but Gods child to enjoy the rest of your days here because he has a plan for you and I dont believe this plan is for you to suffer anymore but to move on! YOU CAN AND WILL DO IT!
IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IN YOUR GOD BEING IN CONTROLL YOU WONT BE ABLE TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF my friend. xoxoxxo

  11. What others did to us in our past is not our fault. It is sometimes hard to rebuild oneself after the damage is done. I believe with God's help it can get better. I see such growth in you. Hugs my friend.

  12. JBR,
I'm echoing what many of the other comments have said - you are not your past. Not only are you not your past but God will bring good out of every circumstance in your life because you are HIS...his child, his beloved daughter. May He bless you with his peace and consolation, dear one. You know what's odd? Very often when I visit your site the words "She will conquer" run through my mind. Happens too much to be a coincidence. And I believe it.

  15. I understand what you are saying. It's hard to move on when we live in the past. I've learned that the things in my past that affect me now are because they are unresolved. You know, those which are "secrets." So far, talking about the issue has helped me a little, but what I need to do is talk with the person of the issue...

    smooches,
    Larie
