SELF REMEDIES

On top of dealing with emotional stuff and working through areas of my life, once a month I get more depressed and extremely tired than normal. Some times to the point of exhaustion. Where I am at today. At times making it really hard to function in the world. Dealing with people becomes even more irritating as well as I! Wanting to rip some times people's heads off! Lasting a couple of weeks. A lot to do with the "change" for me, I believe.

I have been taking for over three weeks now some Progesterone and Primrose Seed Oil products. Along with many of the "B" and "D" vitamins. Hoping to build myself up along with helping with my mood swings. Mainly I want to see as well if any of these remedies help with my migraines which can last a few days. Since it is a hormonal thing. I did not have a migraine last month. But, some times I do not. In the next couple of months I will know if any of these products helps. Right now, I just want to stay in bed and not face the aggravation of life. But, I will. With God's help!

  1. SORRY YOUR HORMONES ARE GETTING THE BEST OF YOU. HOPE YOUR REMEDY DOES BENEFIT YOU IN THE END. I CAN RELATE TO THE RIPPING OFF OF PEOPLE'S HEADS TO.

  2. Have you considered the fact that you might have food allergies? MSG, wheat and milk products can cause migraines and make you feel overall yucky. Another great way to relieve depression is exercise. Anything that really revs up the metabolism like running, speed walking, aerobics and such, release endorphins which make the body feel good.

  6. I am where you are today. My life feels like a heavy wet wool coat. I can barely move. I also struggle with the hormone issue. I feel the worst is over but today I feel maybe not.

  8. I had a total hysterectomy in 1999. Then went on hormones for 10 years. It was a nightmare. I finally had to get on some meds. I feel your anguish and pain.

    Keeping you in my prayers.

  10. I hope the supplements help you. A book that has been helpful to me is "The Mood Cure"by Julia Ross, a nutritional psychologist. She has good information about supplements and foods to help with moods. Praying for you.

  11. Wow. I can totally relate. (In fact, I talk about some of the stuff you talk about in my most recent post!)

I think it's a good idea to take vitamins. Nutrition can make a huge difference.

    Wishing you well,
    NOS
