God overlays us in gold when we come to Him. It is like the gold covers us and we are hidden in Christ. All our failures, past and present sins, weaknesses, flaws are not seen by God.
God only sees our defined beauty through His Son. God hides us in His golden glory. He does not want us to care about what the world sees. The world cannot see the gold. Let alone handle it!
We are love letters from Christ: "You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts." - 2 Cor. 3-3
This is such a beautiful post, I love the image of being covered in gold. No one's perfect but in God's eyes everyone is.
