PRAYERS FOR THE STORM VICTIMS

For any of my bloggy friends who are being affected by this massive Storm from Hurricane Sandy and the Nor'easter, be assured I have been praying for you. May not know your name or where exactly you live, but you have been in my prayers.

In the 1970's I used to live in Queens, New York where that massive fire erupted during the night. Worked in Manhattan. So I know what is pretty much the topography and what is affected when you close down subways, bridges, schools, etc.  Lived through the 1977 famous black out and the three week transist strike in 1979. Which I am not comparing any of these two to what has happened now!!!!

If any of you are affected by this storm and are able to do so and would like to share, please feel free here to vent. Or anyone in general just want to share, please do.

  4. Thanks Grace - praying with you. We escaped the worst of it except for downed trees and power outages but I feel for the people who were hit hard by this storm. It was massive and affected so many.
    God bless!

  7. Hi JBR,
I watched a report on the television last night about the storm, it was horrific. However what both my husband and myself noticed was the wonderful help that came from the national guard, the services and the general public, and I thank God for that.
