SAFETY IN A HUG

When I saw this picture, my little girl felt safe. This is how I am a lot of the time.

Christmas can still be a very difficult time of year for me. As certain weather conditions and memories fall into place, these elements can make my little girl come forth with saddness.

Happy New Year

  9. Christmas always makes me sad. I used to sparkle and shine like the garland and lights, but now I weep and mourn the loss of the meaning as people sweep Christ under the rug and choose all the things that aren't Christ...the worldly things. Although there's still much benevolence and still many who know what Christmas is about, that doesn't change how far we've fallen from the joy it used to hold. I'm sorry, Christmas is just a very sad time for me. Memories aren't good. I hope that somehow your Christmas is magically transformed JBR. Into a happy wonderful time full of new memories that carry you through until Christ.

  18. Me too...Here I am this little girl in a 48 year old body..Just had to wipe my face..when the tears flow these days, God gave me a vision and many times I find I 'wash my face' with them. The other vision He gave me was as a small child, rubbing those tears off my face with such force...I'm praying for you and please pray for me. To face down these fears triumphantly. Love you precious one and thank you for my 'safe place' to come too...

  20. Ah, that picture describes how I feel a lot of the time too. When the anxiety gets overwhelming, I feel like a lost little girl, and I just want to rest in the comfort of my Savior's arms. I hope that you will feel that comfort throughout Christmas and that you can find peace and joy.
