Ever feel small?
Sadly my mum still defines me in many areas. I feel like that picture above. Anyway....
Thank you to all who responded to my venting rant yesterday. I ended up telling my mum about the interview, but not with my old company. Telling her that it was my old company would be a disaster. She knows too much about that company and is very opinionated. So, I only said that there was a possibility of an impending interview in the next couple of weeks. She agreed that this was important and understood not taking a chance to be away if "the call" came in. I told her that I knew nothing further and I would let her know if any details developed. And Not to inquire and ask a zillion questions until then.
At least it is a start..... Whether she will keep to her side of the bargin, only time will tell.

I think that all of us "feel small" from time to time. I think it stems from thinking that somehow, certain others are better than ourselves. I didn't read your last post, but whatever arrangement you have made with your Mother, I pray that it will work out well.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you worry about what other people say regarding your life. Just say to those who continually oppose what you do 'We'll agree to differ', and don't worry about it. We do not have to fit in with any other person to be able to live amongst them, otherwise we would be 'clones'. The worrying causes problems only if a person lets it. It is like keeping masses of unwanted goods in your attic, after a time it will give way and colapse into the house. Look at people like weather situations. If they are sunshine - bask in it, if they are stormy then keep the umbrella of Jesus over you head. God bless.
