HEALING IN HIS CLOSENESS

Sometimes going to the beach experiencing God's awesome creation is about the best therapy one can have when one is hurting....

  3. I love just watching the waves and the sense of calm the beaches give me. It reminds me of His love. Unfathomable. Deep. Wide. Long. High.

  4. I always feel so close to God at the beach, but I have only been a very few times....the ocean is so vast, and just speaks God to me...in everything about it! I dream about walking the beach...the smell, the sight, the feeling.....its a awesome experience to be sure! I posted a drawing of the seaside today....don't expect much..I only doodle, but it makes me feel good to draw :) Blessings friend ... I am sorry you are hurting....may the power of God's Holy Spirit flow and bring healing...in Jesus name.

  7. I'm so envious that you live somewhere where you can go to the beach in February! For me, the beach has always been a relaxing and soothing place. I love the rhythmic crashing of the waves. My only beef with the beach is that I am extremely, extremely pale, and I burn incredibly easily. But that's not beach specific-- I burn pretty much every time I go outside. Which is a shame, because I love the outdoors.

Anyway, I hope you find the beach soothing today. I'm very proud of you for recognizing what you need and doing it.

    Be well,
    NOS

  8. I agree. I tried to make my little office area feel like the beach. I am sure God met you right there today...kinda envious...wish I was there...

  9. I often seek refuge in the beauty of nature too. When surrounded by nature is when I feel closest to God.

  12. The beach is an absolutely wonderful place to be, especially in terms of healing. I hope you're able to be there, in the "largeness" of the world more often.

  14. Being in nature is wonderful therapy. I wish I lived near the ocean as I've always loved it. But I do live near a lake and mountains and enjoy them a lot.

  15. Hi JBR,
I hear you on that one, I know from experience. Actually I did not have a beach to go to, but to get alone with God in nature during a time of deep pain in my life was most healing.
    Blessings,
    Ken
