I AM BACK

I am back. I am still alive.

Something is going on with my emotions.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened with their visit. The usual verbal stabs and what not from the family. But, when they left this morning and I was once again back to myself, depression and saddness came over me like a wild fire. Something I have not felt with sooooo much intensity in such a long time. It was like the enemy pounced on me emotionally. Like I was at a weaken stage. I started crying something awful. Crying out to "Daddy to Help Me" as I was hurting terribly.

Maybe they coming down was a diversion for me for a few days, and I went into survival mode or something. Cutting off feelings??? Then once they left, I came back into reality. Really quickly and painfully. BooM! Did Not Expect That!

OUCH!

  1. Welcome back, Grace :) I hope the visit wasn't too hard on you. Until you mentioned it I didn't know we could temporarily delete our blogs. I'm glad it worked out. God bless!

  6. I'm glad you're back, Grace. I'm sorry about the sudden emotional overload. It may be that you were keeping your feelings hidden during your family's visit and then they reappeared when the visit was over. Take care of yourself, dear. Wishing you peace.

  10. How does one temporarily delete a blog? Never knew that. I don't even know how to have it "under construction" if I am working on it after it was published. Yes, I am NOT computer savvy with blogger. The enemy is out to destroy your beautiful testimony for HIM. Tears are prayers when the words are too hard or just unable to be voiced. Let HIM lead you gently this coming week. It would appear the enemy is lurking, ready to pounce using past hurt. How precious that we KNOW the Lord is wrapping his loving arms around you and you are safe and loved. You made it back to your friends/blog and that is marvelous. Go slow, gently, loving yourself with every step and holding HIS hand. Your beautiful testimony will continue to shine and the enemy will slink away defeated again. Blessings.

  13. God is good! I think of I Thess 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concering you....as Paul and Silas had sudden attacks from their enemies ...we can learn from their testimony of Praising the LORD at all times! He is mighty and will always lift you up and hold you and keep you from the destructive plans of your enemies....Depression hurts and hold captive ...Jesus brings new life and freedom...May You experience today his freedom given to us on the Cross...Be Bless JBR

  17. sometimes visits pull off the scabs
    and it hurts really bad
but healing can sometimes happen faster
    once the barriers are down.
praying that healing has rushed in
    with it's balmy presence
    and kissed the oppression away.
    love and hugs,
    Jennifer
