SHIFT

After close to five years, today was my last one-on-one therapy session with my therapist.

Since I start my new/old job on Monday, I will not have the privilege my last job offered where my then boss let me leave early to go to therapy. That being said I will have to cease going. For now.

Even though I am not in "Full Maintenance" yet, we will have to see how I do in the coming weeks. If be, may be able to schedule a session from time to time late in the day.

But, not all is lost. Already on Tuesday nights my therapist is beginning a small "group" for women which I will be attending.

Although "Group" does not take the place of individual therapy, it will still beneficial.

JBR has it been that long? I remember when I first started following you. Doesn't seem that long. But I guess it has.

Sorry your individual counseling is ending. But better than nothing to have some kind of contact and a place to talk in a group setting.

I was hopeful to read that you do have the option to meet with your therapist if you need to. By what you said I presume your therapist doesn't have evening hours?

    God Bless.

sometimes it is good to be in a group and share experiences with one another, especially as you will be more out in the public in your job. Also, don't forget all your blogger friends will be thinking of you and praying for you, including me. Enjoy your job and just be yourself.
