Brain Dead

I am finding out, when you come into the realization of the hurt that was done to you in the past you can have days, weeks, months or even years where you feel totally "brain dead?"

Welcome to my world.....

  2. I am finding, I have trouble spelling some days..oh and trying to write the number 8 is very difficult for me...wonder if there is any significance there? I have lost interest in everything. so yes, I would have to say I am usually brain dead.

  5. When I'm feeling brain dead--hasn't happened for exactly one year--I want others to know about it, so they might offer me help. It works!!!

You do that quite well, without whining, singing the blues, etc.

Let me stay real today, be false to no one, including myself.

  6. being 'transformed by renewal' is not the simplest thing in the world. the work takes time and i am often unwilling to put the time in to get it done.

  9. I am the queen of suppressing emotions. But then they work their way to the surface five, ten, sometimes 25 years later. I think some of the s**t I'm dealing with now is the same s**t I was dealing with when I was in diapers!
Thank you for your comments at the Psychological Sewer.

  10. Hey, today being brain-dead sounds like heaven! Can I just turn the volume down in my head so I might get a chance to think? *grin* Seriously, do you really think there is a connection between being brain-dead and childhood abuse? I'm not sure from my experience.
