"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."
Psalm 16:11
"God comes to our lonely, anxious hearts and whispers our name. God says "I see both the fear you have of closeness and the deep longing you have to belong. I have come to comfort you and to respond to your need. I have been seeking a relationship with you. You belong. You belong to me. You are my child."

Monday

ON MY FACE

Heard this morning on the radio a song by Point of Grace entitled Day by Day. Even though all of the song is very meaningful, (talks about being open to whatever God has for you) what got my attention were the lyrics:

And I can't wait to fall at your glory
On my face, God of the morning
You're coming closer
Day by day

Each time that refrain was sung, it was like I automatically fell to my knees. After the last time, I just stayed on the ground worshipping.

  3. I hope you had a good weekend. Did you do anything fun? We spent most of ours just trying to keep warm. It's my daughter's birthday today and we're going to all hang out together. I hope you enjoy your day today.

  5. Rise from your face in the earth and take your seat at the right hand of the one you adore. The view is better and the speaker quality is more easily heard kiddo.

  6. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. I took a few minutes to look back on your blog at older posts. POG,,, at your church? wow... love them... Your birds, ohhh what cuties. My mom has two like the grey colored one and they are entertainment plus. I didn't realize they can get so old?
Then I got to the video, Carried to the Table.... I hadn't heard this one. I listen to KLOVE (98.9??)where I live... Well, I am now sitting here crying with that song going over and over in my head. This is why I can't join a choir (besides the fact I can't sing, well, I can sing and I know God loves to hear me, I just can't carry a tune, ya know, in tune). Music is how I connect with God soooo much. Lyrics, many times, are so strong and it moves me to tears all the time. Now, I am a pretty spiritually and emotionally strong person, but music and the right lyrics will also bring me to my knees...
Thank you for your blog, I will visit often, thanks for God's Word.
