"Yet a time is coming
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23

My Heavenly Daddy is healing
me from the inside out.

Transparency is Real.
Many times painful.

Daddy let me be secure in You only!

Heard this morning on the radio a song by Point of Grace entitled Day by Day. Even though all of the song is very meaningful, (talks about being open to whatever God has for you) what got my attention were the lyrics:

And I can't wait to fall at your glory
On my face, God of the morning
You're coming closer
Day by day

Each time that refrain was sung, it was like I automatically fell to my knees. After the last time, I just stayed on the ground worshipping.

Video of Point of Grace back in February 2009, at my church:

POG are great! Love the video. Hang in there JBR!

  2. Yes, I agree the lyrics are profound. I can see where worship can fall into place with this song. Great song. God Bless.

  3. I hope you had a good weekend. Did you do anything fun? We spent most of ours just trying to keep warm. It's my daughter's birthday today and we're going to all hang out together. I hope you enjoy your day today.

  4. These words touched me to tears this morning. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Rise from your face in the earth and take your seat at the right hand of the one you adore. The view is better and the speaker quality is more easily heard kiddo.

  6. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. I took a few minutes to look back on your blog at older posts. POG,,, at your church? wow... love them... Your birds, ohhh what cuties. My mom has two like the grey colored one and they are entertainment plus. I didn't realize they can get so old?
Then I got to the video, Carried to the Table.... I hadn't heard this one. I listen to KLOVE (98.9??)where I live... Well, I am now sitting here crying with that song going over and over in my head. This is why I can't join a choir (besides the fact I can't sing, well, I can sing and I know God loves to hear me, I just can't carry a tune, ya know, in tune). Music is how I connect with God soooo much. Lyrics, many times, are so strong and it moves me to tears all the time. Now, I am a pretty spiritually and emotionally strong person, but music and the right lyrics will also bring me to my knees...
Thank you for your blog, I will visit often, thanks for God's Word.

  7. Absolutely great video. Thanks for sharing.

  8. As usual, thanks for the inspiration!

  9. It is beautiful....it's awesome to feel His presence as we worship. Have a great week JBR! God bless you.

  10. so good to read this post and listen to the song...You are a fighter, a survivor. He won't let you down. Sarah
