Heard this morning on the radio a song by Point of Grace entitled Day by Day. Even though all of the song is very meaningful, (talks about being open to whatever God has for you) what got my attention were the lyrics:

Each time that refrain was sung, it was like I automatically fell to my knees. After the last time, I just stayed on the ground worshipping.

ReplyDeleteThen I got to the video, Carried to the Table.... I hadn't heard this one. I listen to KLOVE (98.9??)where I live... Well, I am now sitting here crying with that song going over and over in my head. This is why I can't join a choir (besides the fact I can't sing, well, I can sing and I know God loves to hear me, I just can't carry a tune, ya know, in tune). Music is how I connect with God soooo much. Lyrics, many times, are so strong and it moves me to tears all the time. Now, I am a pretty spiritually and emotionally strong person, but music and the right lyrics will also bring me to my knees...
