"Yet a time is coming
and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the
kind of worshipers the Father seeks." - John 4:23

My Heavenly Daddy is healing
me from the inside out.

Many times painful.

Been feeling pretty blah these days. Even though I am progressing in my healing, and can briefly get excited about where I am in Christ, I know the joy has yet to arrive. I know it will take time.

Feel I am still going through the motions and just existing.

  1. Ya,,,,I can relate to this...I'm pushing myself forward as I deal with this blah -ness...Saying a prayer for you this week,,please pray for me too if I come to your thoughts.(hugs)

  2. stuck-in-the-middleMarch 25, 2010

    Hang on JBR. (((JBR)))

  3. hugs hunny, it'll pass......

  4. JBR, recovering from what you've gone through takes time, and everyone heals at his or her own pace. In time the joy will return. Keep praying for it to be release. God Bless.

  5. I understand! The ebbs and flows of feelings, emotions. It will pass.

  6. There were many blah days for me as far as I remember....
I have come out the other side. And you will too.
    Hugs, Paula

  7. Sweetie. Going through the motions is all part of your recovery. So days are better than others. Will take time. Yes.

  8. ((((JBR))))

Sweetie, you are so NOT alone on this one! I have felt like that pretty much this past week. Almost like a robot going through the motions.

But PRAISE GOD, it will only be for a short time, then spirits will be lifted and all will be well!

    Praying for you!

  9. Keep your focus...keep on keepin on, as they say. Sending great big hugs, love, and prayers,

  10. Oh, I long for the day when I visit here and find smiling photos, uplifting titles, a foot that stomps on the enemy and hands that lift to Christ.
I can't wait till I can visit here and find that you have refused to listen to or give any more time to the enemy! That you have kicked him to the curb and left his playground. That you no longer live in the past or in the emotion of any given moment - and that you don't allow him to control your emotions and your emotions to control you.
But instead you fill your pages with praises and power and joy. And that you understand that the joy of the Lord that IS already present inside of you - will help you to wake up and understand that life in Christ isn't about simply surviving - but about LIVING!
And then... then... you will know that Christ can and does heal completely. And then... you will let go of the chains that Christ died to break off of you. And you will walk in freedom.
Longing and praying that day will come even now.

  11. Some days it is from moment to moment. Two steps forward and one step backwards. Sometimes all you can do is just prevail by simply putting one step in front of the other and keep the faith.

I am keeping you in my prayers. Go forth and heal.

    Peace and love,

  12. If we didn't feel a little blah sometimes, we'd never fully appreciate how great a day can be! We all go through plateaus, or even troughs, just good to know that we'll come out the other side and go forward from there. Have a good one!

  13. Just be real,

I know what it's like to just go through the motions. It's a very empty and lonely feeling. Here listening and hoping for you.

    Love, Catherine

  14. Ah, yes, the infamous blah days. They come and go frequently for me as well. I think it's become so overwhelmed with all that we have faced. All that we are processing.

  15. Praying for you, JBR! ((((((JBR)))))

  16. The "blah" days can be really bad, but then we get a glimpse of Him smiling down on us.

  17. Hang on JBR!!! For He doesn't let go!

  18. Hey dear one ... I so sorry you are feeling the blahs ... I don't know where you live, but where I am, it has been SO GLOOMY and RAINING off and on for what seems like years!! I suppose it is that time of year, but it really affects ones psyche.

The sun will come up tomorrow, no matter the worries of the world.

Sending much love and BIG (((((HUGS))))!

  19. I don't think we ever stop having bad days... but there does seem to be hope that the good will outwieigh the bad.

I wish for you to know what it is that you need right now so you can get to the solution and that next joyful day.

  20. Sending you love, hugs, and many prayers.

  21. (((hugs))) I can so relate...I've been eating so much the past few days trying to fill the space that only He can. Wuv you!!

  22. Keep pressing on...Canaanland is just in sight!

  23. Oh sweetie! The joy will come, I promise. (((((hugs))))) You are doing an amazing job!

  24. Wishing you so much joy!
