ReplyDeleteSweetie. Going through the motions is all part of your recovery. So days are better than others. Will take time. Yes.
ReplyDelete((((JBR))))
ReplyDeleteSweetie, you are so NOT alone on this one! I have felt like that pretty much this past week. Almost like a robot going through the motions.
But PRAISE GOD, it will only be for a short time, then spirits will be lifted and all will be well!
Praying for you!
Blessings~

Oh, I long for the day when I visit here and find smiling photos, uplifting titles, a foot that stomps on the enemy and hands that lift to Christ.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till I can visit here and find that you have refused to listen to or give any more time to the enemy! That you have kicked him to the curb and left his playground. That you no longer live in the past or in the emotion of any given moment - and that you don't allow him to control your emotions and your emotions to control you.
But instead you fill your pages with praises and power and joy. And that you understand that the joy of the Lord that IS already present inside of you - will help you to wake up and understand that life in Christ isn't about simply surviving - but about LIVING!
And then... then... you will know that Christ can and does heal completely. And then... you will let go of the chains that Christ died to break off of you. And you will walk in freedom.
Longing and praying that day will come even now.
Deb
Some days it is from moment to moment. Two steps forward and one step backwards. Sometimes all you can do is just prevail by simply putting one step in front of the other and keep the faith.
ReplyDeleteI am keeping you in my prayers. Go forth and heal.
Peace and love,
Pam
If we didn't feel a little blah sometimes, we'd never fully appreciate how great a day can be! We all go through plateaus, or even troughs, just good to know that we'll come out the other side and go forward from there. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteJust be real,
ReplyDeleteI know what it's like to just go through the motions. It's a very empty and lonely feeling. Here listening and hoping for you.
Love, Catherine
Ah, yes, the infamous blah days. They come and go frequently for me as well. I think it's become so overwhelmed with all that we have faced. All that we are processing.
ReplyDeletePraying for you, JBR! ((((((JBR)))))
ReplyDeleteThe "blah" days can be really bad, but then we get a glimpse of Him smiling down on us.

ReplyDeleteThe sun will come up tomorrow, no matter the worries of the world.
Sending much love and BIG (((((HUGS))))!
I don't think we ever stop having bad days... but there does seem to be hope that the good will outwieigh the bad.
ReplyDeleteI wish for you to know what it is that you need right now so you can get to the solution and that next joyful day.
Sending you love, hugs, and many prayers.
