LIFT ME OUT OF THIS MIRE!

I am still struggling with these dark days (see previous post). Usually by now the depression would have lifted some what to more manageable. For some reason, this episode is taking longer. My hope dips. Yesterday was pretty rough for me emotionally.

Really praying today will be a better day for me.

Struggling really bad....

Sonday could not have come sooner!

I plan on bathing in the Lord's presence among other believers.

Lord, I desire this depression to leave. I desire this time with You more than ever. I desire to be encouraged Lord! Please lift me out of this mire Daddy!!!

  10. JBR,
    I'm sorry you are having a difficult time, my friend. May God heal you in all the areas you need healing and may He lift your depression. This time of year can be tough on many people (I read your post from yesterday). You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs your way, JBR! You'll get through this!

  11. Behold , I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you. Neverthe less do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven. Luke 10:6 Tell depression to go in Jesus name..We have the authority..blessings!

  12. Hey Sweet Sis, Thanks for your note today. After reading your last 2 posts I felt the need to ask you ,,isn't this when God is wanting us to turn even more to Him... I soooo get what you mean about those dark days..Its hard to describe to others too. Usually they just don't get it. My Husband is GREAT but when I let him know if I'm feeling "it" , ((thats what I'll refer to the sad as)),, he simply tells me to just give it to God... And that is sooooo true, but even when I do the enemy seems to keep trying to remind me of just how sad, low, the dark I use to get in my Non~walk with Jesus daily life..
    Just like you say.. Its such a deep feeling and there are times it just seems to come out of left field,, no where land...Other times there is for sure a trigger that brings it about inside me..
    So I will sure send up some prayers for you Sis,,, I get that you mean its not just from the holidays being near too.
    Sometimes my Hubby would check the calendar to see if there is to be a full moon..
    But would that be of God?????
    ~~~Thank you Sweet LORD Jesus for blessing my life with my Beautiful Sister and these past months that You have blessed me in knowing her.. I pray for Your will and covering on her during this Wonderous Season and in the Seasons to come as they all do come from You Abba Father.. I'm constantly and forever THANKFUL to You LORD for Everything..
    And Father God,,May my Sweet Sister here, continue to grow and share in her daily minute by minute walk with You Jesus... I pray that in your walk with Jesus you'll grow closer and closer to Him ...
    May you enjoy a Blessed Thanksgiving Sweetie and a Blessed Christmas Season in Him...THANKFULY His blessings come in all shapes sizes and styles :0)
    Jesus is the Reason for each and every Season...
    Amen and Amen...
    Hugssssssssssss across the miles~~~ LOVE You Sis~~~Dena
  16. I think this weather affects our mood. I feel it. I love the melancholy that comes with the Fall, but at the same time, I can savor sadness. I have decided to divert my thoughts toward the present, even if it's overly bland.
    Praying for you.
    P.S. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments.
  30. I broke down a bit at Mass today, trying to suck it back in because I knew if I let it spill out, it wouldn't stop and I didn't want others around me asking questions. Some had asked and that was the reason why I started to break down. I'm not ready to talk about it, not ready to deal with it, since I am floundering like a fish out of water. I KNOW God is working good out of all of this, but my life scripture Galatians 2:20 is definitely being walked out right now. I may not have been physically crucified, but emotionally, spiritually and mentally, that is what is happening right now.
