COMFORT ZONE

I believe that my "true" calling will be found and fulfilled way out of my comfort zone.

Yikes!

I have to really push past my fears in order to see what God really has for me. That includes not only working on my past hurts, dealing with forgiveness and unforgiveness and resentment, but at the same time recognizing what God is showing me in the present and to begin to step out.

Double Yikes!!

Let me tell you, this is something I Do Not Want To Do! But, at the same time, I feel the stirring inside that I Do Not Want To Miss Out On What God Has For Me!

Triple Yikes!!!

I am scared!

  1. Scared is ok. Its a feeling, not a fact. Scared is not just 'negative' it holds a portion of down to earth risk awareness too! As usual the two sides of the medal. As usual it helps not to concentrate on one side ;-))).
It is ok to be scared - I was scared too. Yet the comfort zone hold so much misery that I plugged up the courage to get out of there on a daily basis. Courage is not overcoming fear, it is doing something in spite of fear. You do this since I know you, each and every day. So this is a small reminder how much you have achieved, you far you have come, how much more you are you and that feelings of any kind are ok. fear and being scared included. You have left your comfort zone over and over since i met you. Love from my heart to yours

That's the thing about therapy-- although it's important to understand issues and events in our past, we also need to stay mindful of the present and even look forward. You're right-- it IS scary. But scary doesn't mean impossible. You can do it!

    Wishing you well,
