SATURDAY WORSHIP

"Jesus didn’t just breathe on the disciples 2,000 years ago. Every time we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, it is God’s breath on us. Just imagine that. It is not a one-time thing. I think Christians today have gotten into the baptism of the Holy Spirit as some kind of one event. We have got that in Acts chapter 2, but we fail to look forward to Acts chapter 4 where they get baptized in the Holy Spirit again. It says very clearly in Acts chapter 4 they were all filled with the Holy Spirit as they were in a prayer meeting: "After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God boldly." So it is not just in Acts chapter 2; it is also in Acts chapter 4. This means we can be filled with the Spirit continually." - Gordon Robertson

  2. When we are born again of the Holy Spirit that Holy Spirit connection is constantly available that God might speak to and through His children.

  4. Love this song!!!
We are filled with the Spirit of God every time we worship Him, read His word and do His ministry. It is a constant filling. A new day and a new filling. We don't rely on yesterday's filling because God has something fresh for us every day, just like the Manna that fell fresh every day for the Israelites.

    Blessings girl,

  7. We humans tend to 'leak'....it's not just this earthly tent that covers us...we just have a leaking problem. God knew this ...that's why He sent the Holy Spirit to continually fill us with more of HIM. We are meant to 'leak' His presence to those around us. And thus the need to be continually filled to the brim with more of HIM. When I am in spiritual warfare...I leak alot! I have to spend time in my secret place...before I go to war, during, and after. I need to be refilled.

You are so right! it was never meant to be a one time event! His spirit fills the church...and just keeps filling...there is no end to His fullness.

    Amen, JBR
